It’s estimated that nearly 95% of people will get a cavity at some point in their lives. So yes, cavities are quite common. Our approach to cavities is simple:
Our patients who see us regularly for exams and cleanings, and who have great at-home brushing and flossing habits, get fewer cavities than those who don’t. Let’s talk about everything we can do to reduce your risk of tooth decay.
Using 3D digital imaging and x-rays technology, we monitor the health of your teeth and look for signs of trouble. We can spot cavities when they’re very small (and easy to repair) and “watch” trouble spots that might develop into a cavity.
When we do identify a cavity or area of decay, we use modern tooth-colored metal-free fillings. They look just like natural teeth and are extremely durable, too.
Crowns
Following a root canal or dental implant, a crown is an excellent option for restoring the shape, function, and appearance of a natural tooth. At Dental Minds we offer a variety of crown options, including those made from a natural and durable tooth-colored zirconia.
