The Invisalign Process
Getting started on your smile journey starts with a consult at our Logan Square office. We’ll create a digital model of your teeth and show you how your teeth will look following your treatment. You’ll love the confidence of knowing how effective your treatment will be.
Next, we’ll create a series of clear aligners that fit snugly (but gently). You’ll wear your aligners for 22 hours a day — you can take them out to eat, brush, and floss. Every 1-2 weeks you’ll switch to a new aligner. Regular visits to our office allow us to monitor your treatment and make small adjustments as needed.
Most patients see visible results in just a month. Treatment can be completed in as little as 3 months.
Downsides of Mail-Order Aligners
Straightening your teeth with a DIY aligner kit is risky. Without a dentist’s supervision, you have no way of being sure your treatment is working as it should. A treatment that ends with misaligned teeth can lead to headaches, jaw pain, and even an increased risk of tooth decay and gum disease.
