In my dental class, it was pretty close to about 50% women so I think that's pretty well the norm in Canada. I'm not sure how it is in Great Britain, but a lot of patients here actually prefer seeing a female dentist.

I wouldn't let other people's views affect your opinions about what you'd like to do as a career. Don't ever let others put limits on what they think you can do! :crockett:

Sorry for ranting i was being moody last night......... people can be so irritating sometimes.

Ty again ZZZZ :queen:

oh i have another question:

I was reading on the phobia forums coz i was bored........ and there was someone saying " many dentist offer interest free payment plans over 24 months blah blah blah" and well, if its interest free whats in it for the practise? except for the warm feeling of helping people :pale: haha but why would they do that? coz its a business after all theres got to be something that makes someone not paying for 24 months worth while?

Psthis smiley.......... has it got a condom on it head? haha :safe:

Female/male ratio in dentistry in the UK is 1:9

We've been outnumbered :( not even a little bit equal...........having said that does mean the ladies have a nice choice of man friends.......... maybe its not so bad being surrounded by men haha :whip:

Usually when an office advertises 24 month interest free financing, it is done through an independent company. The office itself does not have anything to do with it. It could, but no one really wants to track people down for their money every month. So it kind of works like a credit card, you get those 24 months to pay at zero percent interest, but after that watch out  the interest rates climbs dramatically. It may leave you  . At least thats how it works in my friends office.

In North America, there's a program called Carecredit. You can check out how it works on their website.

Hi, everyone!

Well, in Estonia it is quite different, dentistry is more popular with female.
For example, in my class, there are only abot 15% of male students
